Voice of Love Department
This department oversees music during all church services
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and prepare to lead worship during all church services
- Leading spirit-filled worship during church’s services
- Teaching and leading the church in new songs
- Organize musical concerts a part of outreach program
Ushering Department
This department maintains orderliness in the church during all services.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain orderliness and control during the church service.
- Greet, welcome and direct worshippers to their seats in a polite manner.
- Meets the need of Worshippers.
- Counts the Worshippers to determine number of attendees.
- Collects offering; Sorts currencies, envelopes, prayer cards, and treat accordingly.
- Directs Worshippers that require information to the appropriate departments.
Hospitality & Protocol Department
This department provides hospitality services during church programs, including but not limited to provision of refreshments on a need basis
Responsibilities include:
- To help newcomers and guests feel welcome, loved, comfortable and willing to join Banner of Love or least visit again
- Develop unique communication materials to enlighten newcomers about Banner of Love
- Identify newcomers, guests who needs assistance and meet the need(s)
- Obtain contact details of newcomers
- Develop feedback form and obtain feedback from newcomers and guests
Technical Department
This department is responsible for the audio requirements of the church. The team first and foremost provides the necessary sound engineering for service and other programs to a professional standard.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that all the public address systems of the church are working optimally.
- Recording and production of church events. The unit has the obligation, upon request, to digitally do an audio/video recording of events in the church for duplication and record keeping.
- Provision of good acoustic balance. This is critical to worship atmosphere as the events of nowadays are very dependent on technology of communication.
- Work with the computer system connected to the projector and manage the accuracy of information being projected – song lyrics, messages, and bible passages
Media Department
This department disseminates and provide suitable platforms for disseminating relevant information within and outside the church
Responsibilities include:
- Creating awareness of Church programs and events internally and externally via Beloved Story News, electronic media platforms, printing and sharing of handbills
- Keep the congregation fully informed about pertinent events and church news
- Maintain a robust and up-to-date website
- Maintain an effective information desk – a one stop point where updated information can be obtained on all church activities and departments
- Manage the design, production and sharing of handbills and posters
Prayer Department (Beloved prayer house)
This is an intercessory unit of the church. Prayer is of great importance to a healthy Christian life. This department intercedes for the growth and development of the Church and her members spiritually, physically, and financially.
Evangelism and Church growth Department
This department oversees the spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through witnessing, preaching, and ministering and ensure that new converts are well rooted in Christ.
Responsibilities include:
- Determine the mode and approach / strategy for evangelism and church growth and advise the pastorate and church accordingly
- Facilitate the enrollment of new converts into New Believers and Baptismal Classes and onward settlement in church
